James Keene is a product of the Portsmouth Youth Academy. He made his debut in the English Premier League in 2005 as a striker under famous English manager Harry Redknapp.
Keene is also Swedish champions Elfsborg’s top European scorer in the club’s history, and has been an integral member of the club’s Champions League campaigns. Uncapped by England, Keene had expressed his interest in playing for the Swedish national team, could make the cut for the Scandinavian side.
